Gary Carroll Pools offers a range of pool upgrades and other equipment so you can customize and enhance your backyard swimming pool.
Most customers want more concrete than comes with the industry base pool package, which includes 3ft around the pool. It’s common to add additional concrete for lounge chairs – maybe 6’x15′ or 100sf. Also popular is the addition of a walkway connection from house patio to pool – maybe 5’x10′ or 50 sf. So, a common concrete add-on is 150 sf total. Of course, you can have more or no additional concrete.
Included with an all-in-one pool/spa is the industry standard 11 KW electric heater for spa only, which works at 55° outside temperature and above. For a more efficient heater, you may upgrade to a larger electric, larger gas, or one that will heat both pool and spa. Gas heaters come in propane or natural gas. Heater cost does not include gas line or hookup from gas pipe to heater location on back wall of house. This requires an additional fee, quoted according to distance. The average cost for heater upgrades is $3500-$4500. The average cost for gas lines starts from $4500. Also available are heater/chiller combos, with an average cost of $7500.
One light comes with the basic pool package and with all spas. We recommend the addition of an extra light with any pool that is 30ft or greater in length.
